I finally had time to scan the 2 page feature — the article seems to be a continuation of sorts from the online article that I posted a week ago — from the December issue of Sci Fi magazine; the first publication Amy is featured in for 2008!

The official Sci Fi website — peep the gorgeous artwork! — has posted the air date for Fire and Ice; it will air on Saturday, October 18 at 9/8C on the Sci Fi Channel (US fans only.) I shall try to find an air date for non US countries.

I would also appreciate it if anyone could record the movie so I can provide fans with screencaptures & clips, thanks in advance.

In other news, Amy is featured inside the official magazine and I can confirm that it also features the first still of Amy as Dr. Claire Saunders in the upcoming Dollhouse! I have the magazine, thanks to Brian Murphy for sending it out to me, so expect scans to be added soon.

Just a heads up that the season 2 premiere of Private Practice is airing tonight at 9:00-10:01 p.m., ET on the ABC Television Network, and as you all know, Miss Acker is guest starring. I, for one, am super excited!

It looks like that Amy has signed on to make an appearance at a brand new convention, this time for the upcoming T1 — A three day convention for fans of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Chuck, Dollhouse and Dr Horrible’s Sing Along Blog featuring guest talks; photo & autograph sessions; competitions; parties; and much more.

It will run from 24-26 April 2009 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel in the UK. Tickets can be purchased at this site but please note that, “Ticket prices will be subject to an increase on 1st February 2009.”

Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend despite living in the UK, so I — and I’m sure the fans — would appreciate a written account and/or picture donations.

“A Family Thing” - At Oceanside Wellness, friendships are tested and secrets revealed when Addison discovers that Naomi is concealing the practice’s financial problems. Meanwhile, Violet wonders what secret Cooper is keeping from her, while Cooper himself has to decide whether or not to reveal a medical secret to a patient, on the season premiere of “Private Practice,” WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 1 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

“Private Practice” stars Kate Walsh as Dr. Addison Forbes Montgomery, Tim Daly as Dr. Pete Wilder, Audra McDonald as Dr. Naomi Bennett, Paul Adelstein as Dr. Cooper Freedman, KaDee Strickland as Dr. Charlotte King, Chris Lowell as William Dell Parker, with Taye Diggs as Dr. Sam Bennett and Amy Brenneman as Dr. Violet Turner.

Guest starring are David Sutcliffe as Kevin, Amy Acker as Molly, Cheryl White as Robin, Blake Robbins as Mark and Tyler Patrick Jones as Dean.
