Yesterday I reported that Joss was set to write and direct the upcoming season two premiere of Dollhouse.  Today I have a couple of little news tidbits to add.  First, it appears that Joss and/or FOX has hired on Tim Minear as executive producer.  (If you don’t recognize the name, Tim was part of the Firefly team).  The other little news item is that according to Whedonesque, the season two premiere is titled ‘Vows’.  Yeah, doesn’t tell us anything lol.

Dollhouse bulletin: Series creator Joss Whedon will write and direct Sept. 25 season premiere.

This is excellent news. Joss has written some of my favorite Buffy and Angel episodes so I’m sure we’re in for a treat.  And speaking of Angel, it looks like my wonderful wo-web Kayla has been adding more season three screencaptures to the gallery.  Thank you Kayla!

A 30 second clip of the unaired Dollhouse episode ‘Epitaph One’ has been released.  Amy is featured quite heavily in the clip and the whole scene is very surreal and creepy.  Screencaptures have been added to the gallery and you can view the clip after the cut.

According to Michael Ausiello’s recent Tweet, the season two premiere date of Dollhouse has been pushed back.

Dollhouse bulletin: Rep for show officially confirms that the Season 2 premiere has been pushed back a week to Sept. 25.

Good news for my UK visitors.  According to the listings at scifi.co.uk, the unaired episode of Dollhouse, titled Epitaph One, will be shown on August 11th.  This episode was never shown here in the U.S. and although the R1 DVD set is coming July 28th, the R2 set isn’t available until September.  So this is a perfect opportunity to see the episode before it becomes available to buy.
